The Penalty Box Bar & Grill, located in beautiful Plainfield, IL prides itself on combining two of life's greatest passions... friends and sports! As the first and only true sports bar in Plainfield our goal is to continuously bring you the sports you want (need) while providing a fun and exciting place to convene with friends, family, co-workers, etc. Offering a great selection of casual American cuisine (highlighted by the "Hat Trick Burger"), and a plethora of spirits to enjoy, The Penalty Box is the place to be to catch the day's top games displayed on one of our 15 flat screen TVs. Moreover, there will never be a shortage of drink specials to enjoy while kicking back and rooting on your favorite Chicago teams. You will also find plenty of seating available at any one of our high top tables that line the 10 foot tall windows that surround the restaurant along with 30 plus bar stools that cozy up nicely to our 27 foot long hardwood bar.
With additional seating on our two patios, plus two 50" outdoor flat screens and built in fireplace, there is always room for more friends! We are hockey fans at heart and we love to have a good time, so we would like to extend to you an invitation... come on in and join us sometime for a bite to eat and/or a couple of drinks.
